Welcome to Henley Primary School, where we believe that every child can thrive if the correct path is laid out for them.

As a school, we believe in setting high standards for every child, no matter what their background or needs. We constantly strive towards making our setting a beacon of inclusivity where every child can achieve through adaptive learning and a stimulating curriculum. We believe that every child should be supported to build resilience and a sense of self-belief so that they can confront any barrier presented to them and go on to achieve their goals.

We believe in family and community here at Henley. We pride ourselves on building strong, positive relationships with every one of our pupils, and going above and beyond to support our families and the wider community. It is only by knowing our children well and building a strong, local network around us that we can effectively support our children, whilst challenging them and meeting their needs.

We offer a broad and balanced curriculum that encourages creativity, curiosity and an in-depth understanding of the world we live in. We believe in developing every one of our pupils as individuals, and we know that this can only happen with plenty of opportunities to develop new skills through a wide range of learning opportunities and experiences. We strive to take our pupils far and wide to experience the wider world and all it has to offer, through school trips and in-school experiences. Set amongst the beautiful Suffolk countryside, our rural setting offers plenty of opportunities for children to take their learning outdoors in our beautiful wide-open spaces. Learning does not only happen behind a desk, and this is a strong belief we constantly put at the heart of everything we do.

We set high expectations for all in a nurturing and inclusive environment, so that we can lay those strong foundations for every pupil to build a bright future for themselves.

We are very proud of our school, our pupils and the journey we are going on. We offer you a warm welcome and invite you to come and see for yourselves the wonderful things that are happening here at Henley Primary.

I look forward to welcoming you to our wonderful little school.
